This summer Stinky Pants participated in the 11th annual Angels and Tails Adoption on Armitage. PAWS set up in front of the store with crates of cats and kittens, as well as dogs, that were all ready for new homes!
Armitage was buzzing with eager new pet owners as dogs yipped, cats played and kids laughed. The two dogs Stinky Pants sponsored, Riley and Herman, were both adopted within the first few hours! Herman, a Terrier/ Chihuahua mix, went home to a lovely young couple. Riley, a Shih Tzu/Lhasa Apso mix, also went home to a couple.
The cats and kittens were a very populer stop along Armitage. The kittens were playful, while the older cats nuzzled potential new owners. In the end, five cats had found new homes!
Stinky Pants was honored to be considered for the PAWS event, and looks forward to supporting them in the future!
Stinky Pants was out supporting WTTW’s 3k Family Walk and a 5k Fun Run that benefitted children’s television programming. The course wove through Lincoln Park, where walkers and runners enjoyed activity stations, blow up slides, pictures with WTTW characters and a kiddie concert.
The Stinky Pants booth proved to be quite popular! Tasty popcorn and bright orange ballons were passed out while participants signed up for a raffle to win a $100 gift certificate to the store!
Stinky Pants continues to support Lincoln Park, and the city of Chicago, and looks forward to future community events!!
